What do you think of Kierra, Aurora and Reo?

I like unusual names, I don't know what I am having yet so I have Kierra or Aurora for a girl. Or Reo for a boy. What do you think? I know really it should only matter what I think but family do not like Aurora, I think its beautiful. I think Reo is a bit out there, but then again I like it. What are your opinions ladies?

While I don't like it, Aurora has the benefit of being an actual name.

The other two are hideous.

And the odd spelling of rio would irritate....

Wasn't aurora the real name of Cinderella or one of them. It's better than other two but a bit sickly, might depend on surname though...

They sound like saloon cars models from a far eastern manufacturer.

I have an Aurora, we call her Rorie, we love it (obviously) :)

Agree with oooggs on the spellings - that's how I would spell then. And I actually think they're all quite nice. :)

Kierra does sound like a drink. How about Kiarna? That's a real name and quite pretty. I went to uni with one and she's lovely!

Aurora is the goddess of the Dawn- hence the northern lights being Aurora Borialis. Also the real name of Sleeping Beauty in the story. I quite like it though. Alternatives may be Alora, Alana, Isla?

Hate Reo, sorry. Even worse with the alternate spelling. I'm not great on boy's names though, but I've always loved Rory.

I love Aurora too! Really had my heart set on it as did DP then as other people have said they don't like it he has gone off the name. Now he wants to change it. Aw what a pity not many people like Kierra or Reo.

Do you mean Keira? If so, it's OK. As is Aurora. Reo is just peculiar and ugly.

DD is Aurora, so obviously I love that one! She's 16 now and we've never had anything but people saying they love it apart from on here :)

Thank you ooogs and mummybare. Kiera and Rio are how they would normally be spelt. Thought they looked better my way haha.

Aurora is fine. Kiera/Ciara and Rio are fine.

Kierra and Reo, however, are truly dreadful.

My Aurora was born at dawn too :) It suits her perfectly.

If you spell it Kierra I read it as Key-Air-Ah.

I used to love Aurora. When I was about 8.

The other two I dislike because misspelled names are quite irritating.

Ciara is lovely Kierra is awful.

Aurora is lovely though not my style.

Reo is terrible. And Rio is,in my head, a girls name, "her name is Rio and she dances in the sand" ring any bells?

AwfuL mispellings. Why would you inflict a lifetime of people spelling their names right wrong, on purpose? Do you know how much hassle you are giving them?

Try picking an actual name and spelling it properly.

Sorry but they sound like boring mid-range cars manufactured by a certain Korean company.
