Names you love but won't use

For whatever reason - too common, bad with your surname, too wacky... Share here and someone else might be able to use them!

Mine are Autumn and Malachi...

Cameron and Blair for girls... Ruined forever.

Seth and Lilly. Lilly has been my favourite name since I was little but 4 friends have got Lilly's ranging between 3 years and 6 months. Seth I love but it reminds DH of the old guy in Emmerdale!

Florence and Oswald.
Have loved Florence for 10 years but 3 friends have used it in the last year.
Oswald is fabulous but I'm not brave enough!

Oh I love Seth too but dh vetoed it, as it would end up as 'Seff' where we live

Isis and Dido, too prone to mispronunciation/sniggering.

Blossom and Bluebell - Probably not sensible!
Isla and Ava - Far too popular!
Skye, Pearl and River - Sound silly with surname! River also fits into the first category!
Chester - Feel like I should have some link to the town but don't!
India - Feel like I should have some link to the country but don't!

Tallulah-not brave enough.

Noah, unfortunate rhyming issues

I love it, bloody love but DH refused - you can guess why

Anastacia, Sebastian, Armani, Chardonnay, Champagne, Perry, Bruno, etc......
The list goes on, lucky i'm not thinking of adding to my brood

wannabeadomesticgoddess - man are rubbish and mean and horrible. I really love that name, its the only boy name that i think thats it!!

I always loved Savannah. And - I can't spell it but it's the full name of the main female character in Mannequin. Emehezeray, it sounds like.

I loved Hector for a boy but DH was quick to point out that it was the name of the first in the gang with a gun in his and the first of the gang to die and the first lost lad to go under the sod according to Morrisey.

Lily - always loved it but way to popular now.
Isla - surname too similar to 'Wight'
Madeleine - McCann
Joe - family are from the black country and pronounce it 'J-ow'
Arthur - 'Oh Aaaaarrrffurrrr' - Olive from On the Buses.

Ivy, rosalind, Frances, Elsie, Edith all vetoed by my oh

Oakley (for a girl - and probably would use this name)
Indie.
Lamika. (La-meeka)
Rosalie.

All of which don't really fit with my last name.

Jacoby (definitely my favourite)

Again, I probably have the most awkward rhyming last name.

India - love it both think I'd get too may faces

Sheherazade. I'm too old to have any more children but even if I weren't I doubt I'd have the balls to give this name, which I love.

And then I secretly like all the American surname names for boys, like Hunter, Carter etc but I would never use them.

Julian, because dp hates it.

Colin because it sounds awful with dp's surname.

Edgar, because everybody laughed at it.
