I think Mabel is v cute and works old/young. Need a twin name that works. Is Mildred known as Mills/Red a big no or a maybe??? For my SIL. She is avoiding top 100 (almost impossible IMHO). Thanks.

Love Mabel, Or Amabelle, yes with an M! Not sure of mildred, would prefer Millicent? Bells and Milly?
Love Cordelia, Cora, Isadora, Iris, Venetia

As you were.

Matchy twins names sound gimmicky to me. I have dts and they like to be seen as individuals rather that as a pair.

Sorry don't like old lady chic names in general but Mildred esp so.

My grandma was Mabel and her sister Gladys. I also think Elsie goes well with Mabel tho :)

Mildred always reminds me of 'the worst witch' book.......

PorkyandBess · 10/10/2012 21:27

I'm sorry, but I think they're both very ugly names.

I love Mabel. It was on my list but two friends now have baby Mabels. Mildred is a bit fusty still. Margot? Mabel and Margot :)

Same initials and same date of birth sound like a bad idea to me.

Oh no, mabel is maybe do-able but if I were a twin I'd prefer to be the 'other one' as long as its not Mildred...
Sorry.

Love Mabel. Mildred is awful. I think the less matching the better for twins.
