As above really. DD is a few days old now and we are not sure which one to choose.

Any feedback is welcome. I'm pretty sure I like Iris best. DH likes Honor.

I love Saskia but my DH hates it! Iris is next best.

YouMayLogOut · 05/10/2012 12:24

Nell if a nickname, then Honor, Saskia, Iris in that order.

schnauzerfan · 05/10/2012 12:28

Nell

squoosh · 05/10/2012 12:40

I love both Nell and Honor.

FireOverBabylon · 05/10/2012 12:44

Saskia - less used than the others.

Which is your and DH's 2nd choices - just to see if you match up at all down the list?

Pasiphae · 05/10/2012 13:04

Honor or Nell.
Both very pretty, but not overtly "cute".

katiecubs · 05/10/2012 13:09

lovely names - my favourite is Iris (one i would like to use myself if i have a DD) followed by honor. Let us know what you decide!

stowsettler · 05/10/2012 13:11

Nell. Lush (and my nickname, but legitimately a name in its own right IMHO).

teaandchocolate · 05/10/2012 13:18

I really love the name Iris!

PandaNot · 05/10/2012 13:20

Iris, I would use this if I had another dd.

squoosh · 05/10/2012 13:22

Yes, just Nell, by itself, not short for Helen or anything.

MoonHare · 05/10/2012 13:32

Iris followed by Nell. Not keen on Honor and really dislike Saskia sounds a bit TOWIE to me.

DialMforMummy · 05/10/2012 13:43

Honor, Honor, Honor, never had a girl, never will and readily sorry I was never able to consider this name.
Iris is fine. I agree that Saskia is bit TOWIE.

EllenParsons · 05/10/2012 13:44

Saskia or Iris, both lovely.

Not keen on Honor especially spelled without the u and Nell is too much of a nickname IMO though I do really like it for Eleanor.

telsa · 05/10/2012 14:16

Saskia and Nell are both fabulous. Honor is unusual and has a good sonorous ring to it. Iris is ho hum.

squoosh · 05/10/2012 14:26

Oh yeah, Saskia is a bit TOWIE isn't it? It's a bit of a 'I'm dead classy me' kind of name.

Poor Saskia.

onlyaname · 05/10/2012 14:42

Yes Saskia is a bit Towie, I had an odd feeling about it and couldn't work out why. I think that must be what it is. Not really sure on my second favourite now though!

DH likes Nell after Honor.

My favourite is Nell, then Iris. Really dislike Saskia and Honor

MadBusLady · 05/10/2012 14:55

Honor. Beautiful strong, elegant name, and with a bit of crowbarring nickname can be Honey which is cutesy and sweet, so you get both!

squoosh · 05/10/2012 15:06

Although Rembrandt's wife was a Saskia, she was his model for a number of paintings so it's not all tacky associations.

PropositionJoe · 05/10/2012 15:08

Please spell Honour properly if you use it.

squoosh · 05/10/2012 15:09

I've only ever seen it spelt Honor when used as a name.

pennyhill · 05/10/2012 15:15

Honor or Iris. Not very helpful! But I love them both.

CakeBump · 05/10/2012 15:17

I read Nell as Neil and though (well obviously not NEIL fgs!!) Blush :)

I like Honor the best.

Or Neil, on second thoughts....

CakeBump · 05/10/2012 15:18

And Honor the name is spelled correctly.
