Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Moominsarescary · 19/09/2012 01:18

I think it's awful

lisaro · 19/09/2012 03:19

Oo a pretty real name. Absolutely wouldn't be my choice, but lovely all the same. All the best to them all.

emmyloo2 · 19/09/2012 04:26

I really like it. Although you wonder how long she will be called Teddy for before it's a bit ridiculous. Theodore is lovely though.

margerykemp · 19/09/2012 04:56

theodora is actually quite boring comapred to what I was expecting after he said he was going for a wacky celeb name

hoe long before she gets called dora the explorer?

HotPinkWeasel · 19/09/2012 06:40

I love love Theodora. I know a couple of lovely Theo's. One whoses in her 40's and her sister still calls her Teddy. I think it's nice as a pet name Smile

janey68 · 19/09/2012 07:04

Theodora is alright , not dreadful though there are plenty of more beautiful classic names around. Rose quite pretty but is the middle name for about 50% of little girls. Teddy sounds ridiculous for anything other than a teddy bear.

So overall: could be worse (particularly given this is robbie) but could be a whole load better.

TudorJess · 19/09/2012 07:20

The full name is nice and she could have Thea or Dora as nickname.

HoratiaWinwood · 19/09/2012 07:21

Like.

lljkk · 19/09/2012 07:44

I'm just miffed as our dc3 was due yesterday but I'm still very much pregnant this morning Wink

HoratiaWinwood · 19/09/2012 09:00

Take That are announcing it as Teodora (no h). Is the mother Italian? I have a vague memory that she is furrin.

nappyaddict · 19/09/2012 09:32

I hope this doesn't mean the names going to become ridiculously popular because it's one of my favourites. I like it with the th sound though.

EverlongYouAreGoldAndOrange · 19/09/2012 09:48

Lovely.

Teddy is better on a girl I reckon.

piratecat · 19/09/2012 09:51

i like it, congrats Robbie and Ayda.

He's chosen the same middle name as Mark Owen chose for his latest baby.

MolotovBomb · 19/09/2012 09:52

Not my taste, but pleasantly surprised- a strong, non-faddy name.

I reckon she'll be known as Dora, though.

madeupmummy2012 · 19/09/2012 09:52

I love the name, Congratulations Thanks

MolotovBomb · 19/09/2012 09:52

Thea is a nicer NN than Teddy for a girl, IMHO.

PopOozeTheFastest · 19/09/2012 09:53

Mark Owen's latest daughter is Fox India, no?

I like Theodora/Teodora - so much nicer than the expected Grin.

squoosh · 19/09/2012 10:40

I think Teddy is a nice nickname.

Much nicer than Theodora. There was a Theodora in the Chalet School books, she was forced to change her name as soon as she arrives by that busybody Jo Maynard. To Ted if I remember correctly. Ted is also awful. . . .

DancehallDaze · 19/09/2012 10:42

A lovely name with a lovely meaning. Plenty of scope for pet names and variations. It could also be contracted to Thora.

LuellaLovesLavender · 19/09/2012 10:45

Doesn't Lily Allen have a sister called Teddy Rose? I wonder is that where they got their inspiration! I like it!

piratecat · 19/09/2012 10:49

oops it must be Mr Owen's other daughter, my daughter is a great fan of Mark and told me this morning, i must have got it wrong-duh.

MrsjREwing · 19/09/2012 10:55

Lilly is Lilly Rose, is her sister a Rose too? I would shorten to Dora, Theodora is not a horrible name, not something I would choose.

CiderwithBuda · 19/09/2012 11:10

I think it's lovely.

Prob biased towards the name as had a lovely babysitter for DS when we lived in Bulgaria and her name was Theodora.

Margerykemp - I think he said he wasn't going for a whacky celeb name. Nothing 'apple-esqe'!
