I have a dd and a ds already. We are dutch speakers and our children have dutch names. It's a pain having to constantly correct spellings though. So this time we are looking for short names that work in both languages.
What do you think of Lynn for a girl? Any other suggestions for short (phonetic) names?

OP - I LOVE Lynn, but this could partly be because it is my best friend's name.

I think it is feminine, not too common, but not whacky. It is also timeless.

One that came up on another thread is Paula. Or Paul for a boy. Any good?

YouMayLogOut · 20/09/2012 11:32

Paula is quite nice actually.

Paula reminds me of "Poor" as in Poor You. Never Mind.

I like Lin actually. And I really like Noor.
