I'm thinking alongthe lines of

I will be honest it is not for a baby but for my chickens. I have two to name.

I had a chicken called Arabella. She was very pretty (silver laced wyandotte) with black and white feathers. She died suddenly, just fell off her perch. Wink

All our chickens have always been named after Royal mistresses - so we've also had Camilla, Lily, Koo... I can't remember who Arabella was though, I looked them up on wikipedia. Blush

I was about to share my girls list but not sure how I feel knowing my daughter would share her name with a chicken..

So here are the poshest names I can think of:
Athenais (de Montespan, Louis XIV's mistress - try to poison the other mistresses: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Athénaïs_de_Montespan)
Cassiopee
Griselda

Trazzletoes · 18/07/2012 15:24

Margot, Araminta, maybe just watch an episode of Made in Chelsea for inspiration?

minipie · 18/07/2012 15:53

Oh it has to be Henrietta.

Henrietta Featherstonhaugh (pron. Fanshaw).

The other one can be Eggsmerelda.
