Confession - I don't actually have an Ottilie yet but I'm definite that if I ever have a girl then that is what she'll be called so need a boys name which works with it, even if I have a boy first.

If I never have a girl I'll just have to have a dog called Ottilie.

I did like Albert but I keep changing my mind and not sure it goes with Ottilie.

Love the name Ettiene too. Though not sure I can have an Ottilie and an Ettie?

I was going to suggest Louis as well, pronounced Louie.

I love all these boys names but think that something simple and classic would actually enhance Ottilie rather than going for overkill with something flowery...
I also think that something not ending in Y could be good too?
Personally I like Hugo best - does it matter if you know a few already? Once it is 'his' name, it doesn't matter how many there are.

I know siblings Ottilie and Quentin. Both lovely names. Also think Theo or Rufus go well.

But Ottlilie and Louie do not go well imo - the end sound is far too similar.
