Tyler Morgan..?

Ok, so we really thought we were set on Oscar Morgan but are starting to waver a bit as a few too many people har said its a dog or cats name and one person just thought it was 'strange'..

We have a Dylan and a Miles..

Ds3 due any day..

Tyler is a bit... iffy and well... others have said chavy. It's VERY 10 years ago.

Tyler was popular about 20 yrs ago on the rough council estate I grew up on, fwiw

I actually much prefer Tyler to Oscar and Lucas - I have an irrational dislike for both of those names! However I wouldn't take my word for it as my DS's name is often considered chavy along with Tyler!

I think it depends who you know that has a name.. I considered Tyler as I Like Aerosmith and therefore Steven Tyler

Oscar is lovely though.

My family have always used 'human' names as dogs names. I do too. But only nice names. We wouldn't use Tyler for a dog.

I get that a lot of people think Tyler is chavvy.. Not sure why they think Morgan is though Morgan Freeman is cool!

Not too bothered if some people consider Morgn chavvy though, it'll just be his middle name and I am in no way a chav so it doesn't really matter

My dad's middle nameis Morgan (Welsh). It's a tricky one. I think if coupled with a non-chavvy name then you are ok ;)

You need a 'musical' name to go with (Bob) Dylan and Miles (Davis), which Tyler does fit with...

Ps love the name Miles cos one of mine has that name.

Well i know im not an idiot, so you are wrong.

Tyler's a lovely name, the only reason it's can be considered 'chavvy' is because it has been consistently popular for over a decade. If in that time around 15000 Tylers have been born of course you will have met one you might consider 'chavvy'. I can imagine the same will be said about Oscar in a few years time.

Not really though beacuse names such as richard, benjamin and robert have been around for ages and have been exceedingly popular, and they arnt considered chavvy.

I don't think you can judge people on their names but Ricky and Bobby are no classier than Tyler IMO
