Strong (but not over-popular) boys' names

I quite like traditional boys' names (James, Edward, etc) but I really would like a boys' name which is not too popular - the problem is I can't seem to find any! Suggestions very welcome :o

My faves are Edward and William, and also like Joseph, Samuel, and Hugo. I like the fact that if you shorten them, they still sound good: Ed, Will, Joe, Sam.

I like Eric - it's easy to spell, easy to pronouce, not popular, but we know a grown-up Eric who is a bit hopeless - not necessarily a deal-breaker though.

Love Niall, too.

What do you think of Oren/Orin and Jago?

Oren is quite nice
