What do you think of Harry as a name rather than as a nickname for Henry. Is it a bit Alfie/Archie/Finlay?

My DS is Henry
There are a LOT of people who don't know that Harry was originally a nn for Henry.
But as winkly said, v popular - top 3 IIRC in the last few years (Henry is top 20)

yellowflowers - nope he is Hen or Henry atm (but that may change when he is older..)

There is another Henry at nursery so in fact he is Henry OliviaMumsnet'sSurname to differentiate from Henry OtherBoyAtNursery...
