Do you know any little Ursulas?

Hello, I'm considering Ursula should my baby be a girl. I know it's a marmite name but I am in the love camp so please don't tell me you hate it! I was just winferring if anyone knows any little girls called Ursula? Thanks in advance.

No, I don't know of any. The only Ursula I've ever known was about 90!!
Maybe it's coming back around though...

No, not one. The only one I've ever met was my age (now 40). I'd like it for impending dd2 but DH won't have anything that isn't bog standard, dull and boring.

I know 2 little Ursula's. One is 6.. Mostly called ursie by her friends. The other is 6months (ish). Both beutiul little girls.
I must admit though my first thought is always the sea witch. Sorry.

I know a grown-up Ursula who is in her late 30s (I know this wasn't exactly your question OP but bear with me!) and she receives loads of compliments on her name. Most of her friends shorten it to Urs though, which you might not be so keen on ...

Love it. Classic, timeless, sophisticated. I think it is in the same vein as Olivia (setting aside Olivia's popularity) in terms of "feel" and style.

I was always going to call DD2 Ursula. When we finally had DD2 (21 years after DD1) I realised that my mum's pronounciation Ursh-ala would really grate and there was no way she'd accept she was saying it wrong, so we went for something else :(

One of my best friends is called Ursula, it's a great name. I did think about it for DD but it doesn't work with DH's surname...

I don't know any little Ursulas but I do really love the name. It was on my list but clashes horribly with DH's sn. I think it is quite a 'grown up' name iykwim but very elegant and sophisticated. I would like to be called Ursula Xmas Smile.

Be prepared for people pronouncing it Ur-shoo-la rather than Ur-soo-la though.
