2wwmadness · 22/11/2011 18:42

Elliot is beautiful! I love Eli an it wa on our list but know of a few little eli's recently and worried it will b the new "Alfie" no offence intended.

mumbrane · 22/11/2011 18:43

Prefer Eli short for Elijah or Elias. Great name.

Elliot is OK

ImpYCelyn · 22/11/2011 18:56

Like Elliot. Could you use Eli as a nickname for Elliot?

MudAndGlitter · 22/11/2011 18:57

I like them both but prefer Eli as nn for Elijah or Ellis

scarlettlips · 22/11/2011 19:07

Elliot!!! Smile

Richlinn · 22/11/2011 19:09

Elliot

IHeartKingThistle · 22/11/2011 19:09

I have an Elliot. It's a great name.

ChippingInNeedsSleep · 22/11/2011 19:10

Elliot :)

You can always change your mind and nn Eli if you want.

cheeseandmarmitesandwich · 22/11/2011 19:10

I vote for Elijah, NN Eli

cheeseandmarmitesandwich · 22/11/2011 19:10

I vote for Elijah, NN Eli

mayanna123 · 22/11/2011 19:13

Another vote for Elijah, nickname Eli.

I know a female Elliot and also think that the nickname Ell or Ellie is too feminine.

AnaisB · 22/11/2011 19:32

I much prefer Eli, but may be biased because of an Elliot I used to know.

GwendolineMaryLacey · 22/11/2011 19:45

Elliott. Lovely name :)

GwendolineMaryLacey · 22/11/2011 19:46

Although as I've just proved, there is the "how many Ls and Is issue..."

GwendolineMaryLacey · 22/11/2011 19:46

Ls and Ts ffs.

frutilla · 22/11/2011 19:49

Like Eliott.

Dutchie77 · 22/11/2011 19:52

Ohhh exciting 6 votes each!!

But I like your idea ImpYcelyn.

We like ELi, beacuse it's from Swedish book/movie (Let the right one in). It's such a sweet and pure movie. Eli is a quirky girl who develops a special friendship with a neighbour boy Oscar. Oscar doesn't know that Eli is a vampire. Both children are different then 'normal' children so they find a friend in each other. And that's exactly how me and DP felt when we met, and still do; not fitting in the masses and finding your then finding your equal.

Offspring · 23/11/2011 02:34

Eli

comedaygoday · 23/11/2011 08:37

Eli definitely. Is a lovely name and even better would be to use Elijah or Elias with Eli as the nn.

Don't really like Elliot. Think it sounds a bit weak and.imo is too.unisex.
