Evening! I posted last week but we are still frantically searching for a name for our new DD. Her sister is Nina so we need something which complements this. Her middle name will definately be Diane. We have a shortlist of Zoe, Elsa, Sadie, Kara but nothing seems perfect. Ideally we want something that is more unusual (i.e not top 100) as our surname is fairly common. Thanks in advance.

I like Sadie - could go for Zadie (a la author Zadie Smith - unless Smith is your common surname!)

My name is Julia Diane, with a fairly common surname. Not wildly unusual, but I very very rarely meet another Julia who is my age and have never ever met a child called Julia (and with two children I have been to a fair number of playgroups etc). I am Julia professionally, Jules with my friends and have a had a series of family pet names as I have been growing up (all of which were cute at the time but too embarrassing to reveal here....).
