Hello, I'm knew to this so please bear with me! My husband and I already have a DS and a DD and are expecting again. It seems most people can't find a name they both love but our problem is the opposite - our list is waaay too long! Please help us to sort out the lovely names from the ones that only seem good in my jumbled pregnancy brain and shorten our list! :o

BOYS
Atticus
Augustus
Bay
Cuthbert
Fergus
Gabe
Gray
Inigo
Merrick
Otto
Percy

GIRLS
Ariana
Astra
Cleo
Elodie
Etta
Lucia
Matilda
Paloma
Rowan
Thea
Zeta

Honest opinions please, I can take it! :o

I like Fergus and Otto from your boys list.

I love Thea, followed by Lucia from the girls names.

If I could change it slightly, I would have Elsa over Etta and Eloise over Elodie... although I do appreciate that's not what you were asking for Grin.

LiviaAugusta · 08/10/2011 09:31

I like Rowan but for a boy. None of the boys names appeal otherwise, sorry. I like Thea for a girl and Elodie's pretty but becoming too widely-used for my personal taste now.

I am going to answer on a personal level with no deep thought, so please disregard me, lol!

BOYS
Atticus- Quite an aggressive kind of name, not really a common one now, would probably be the only one in the class!
Augustus- I imagine a fat emperor!
Bay- Actually quite like this, hadn't considered it as a name before.
Cuthbert- The Beano comic!
Fergus- Reminds me of a particularly sexy vet I knew! Nice name.
Gabe- Noo, don't know why just nooo!
Gray- Again quite like (what's with me liking the colour ones, this and bay?) Think I'd be happier with non-american spelling though.
Inigo- Different, not sure what I think.
Merrick- Where does this come from? Don't think I like it.
Otto- Quite like. Different but not nuts.
Percy- Thomas the tank engine.

GIRLS
Ariana- Bit poncey
Astra- Car. Crap car.
