what do you think to this name? it has really grown on me, i think it is classic and understated and quite elegant. also there don't seem to be too many baby Anna's about.
what do other people think? somebody mentioned they found it quite boring? does anyone think it is too popular now (i thought my other daughters name, Beatrice, was un-popular but there are three in her nursery class all born within 4 days of each other), and do you think it goes with Beatrice? thanks in advance.

I have an Anabelle, known as Ana. Her middle name is Frances. (Blame her dad for the silly spelling. We couldn't agree on the damn name and once we did we argued on spelling. This was the comprimise)

This was always my first choice for a girl, three boys later it doesn't look like I will get to use it!

I am pg with dd no 3 and this is currently at the top of my list. Have a Grace and an Ella already so looking for something short and understated.

It's on my list, but I have a friend with an 18month old called Anna and also know a colleague/friend with this name... so although I like it Im still searching for another.
I also like Kate and Eve

Fine name for any age- go for it!

(the only slight caveat I'd have would be if you have a vowel starting your surname as the "er" sound will maybe be a bit hmm... prominent eg Anna Elliot seems to aquire an "anner" sound and I'm not to keen on that)

Anna is a lovely name - very strong and classy. Sounds good in combination with Elizabeth and Catherine. It is also nice with Isabella...
