What would you call your baby if your dh had no say?

Dh ruins all of my baby name plans here is my list if he had no say for a Ds I would have a Hugo or a Jesse we mostly agree on girls names but I love Fleur and he despises it.

What would you call your baby if you had free rein?

But had a DD and we agreed on that!

We actually played something like this inbed this morning! Dd1 wanted to know what I'd call my children if I had 7 boys and 7 girls and dp hated all but one of them.

For my real dds, I wanted to call dd1 Eloise Claire and dd2 Harriet Posy but dp was having none of it!

The names he particularly objected to this morning were Thaddeus and Barnaby.

Verity

Katya and Rudy or Rufus.

Stupid dp with his stupid opinions...

Fionn (DH says this sounds like a fast car zooming past)
Aoife (says it's like "E" is for Elephant)
Ptolemy (just no!)

But he let me have a Hugo :o

i loved boe for a boy or girl but he hated it :(

DD would have been Clementine.

Oh and all Irish names here, managed to sneak Aisling into dd1s middle name but when I wanted to call her Aisling he just kept saying Ashley What?

ds2 i'd forgotten would actually have been cillian dh was so negative because it begins with kill that i then tried to persuade him to accept lyndon but too no avail

dd1 would of been Jessica Frances after my grandad Jesse Francis, or elloise
ds would of been Gabriel or Harry
dd2 would of been Indiana(bloody lego game)
i may of relented and she would most likely be Isabella or Tabitha
dd3 would of been Philippa or Freya

DS would be getting called Casper or Caspar. Failing that Ethan.

I'm quite mad actually because I don't particularly like our name choice.

Oh and if dd3 was a boy then she woulf of been Woody or Noah

I managed to end up with a Naomi! Love Cecily too.

Imagining DH having a say over the baby I carried......strain.....nope, can't...babies had the names I wanted.

I'm fuming about this actually!

I've had a horrid pregnancy, in and out hospital constantly and he's just sat on his frigging laptop designing and playing video games the whole time.....

Yet we have a name planned that he likes and I don't.

DD would have been Aoife(which we both loved) if it hadnt been for inlaws deliberately mispronouncing it

ha! DP hates me for this because im the one saying no to every single name he came away with!! poor bugger we spent forever and ended up with a nice normal name for this fat baby :) i hate almost all baby names..

Trillian, your name just makes me want to answer everything with 42.

For a DD, it would've been Clementine or Sunny. The former he believes to be pretentious (he is clearly wrong ) and the latter doesn't go with his surname (we will be getting married so gave the LOs his name so we could all be the same one day).
