I've posted a couple of times on here but we are really struggling now and shes due in less than 5 weeks.
My dds are Jessica, Lily and Ava

I am drawn to girly but not frilly names. We like all of these but none make us think yesss

Elizabeth nn Eliza (but surname Bennett. Too Jane Austin?)
Anna - a bit meh and too many n's maybe

The above have been the front runners all the way through. Others we have thought about...
Scarlett - too many ts with surname
Francesca (I like Frankie)
Juliet (this was a front runner for a few weeks until I decided she might end up being Julie or ju neither of which I love)
Emmeline (Emmy) - dh not keen
Urmmmmmmmm there have been others.....

Anyway, any suggestions or names that you think might fit the bill.

At this rate she will end up being Anna or Elizabeth which i know are lovely names and I really like them but like I say, I'm not in love with either of them like I was with my other dcs names.

THea-that´s nice.

exoticfruits · 05/04/2011 19:03

Your shortlist sounds fine. I find that Thea is quite popular these days.

freshmint · 05/04/2011 19:07

juliet bennett is almost impossible to say
and if you try it sounds like julia bennett
so call her julia!

exoticfruits · 05/04/2011 19:21

Unfortunately freshmint has a point-Juliet isn't easy with Bennett.

pointydog · 05/04/2011 19:28

Julia is nice.

Eloise or Louisa.

Perpetuallypregnant · 05/04/2011 19:32

Good point - sigh - I knew there was another reason I changed my mind about it.

Ooh another thread just reminded me of April.

Baby due 6th may and not likely to be early. Does it matter if an April is born in may? Or does it make it less cheesy?

Im going to see if i can work on DH regarding Emmeline. Hes a bit traditional and despite it being an old name, becuase he hasnt heard of it its 'weird' Hmm

Joanna?

CheerfulYank · 07/04/2011 04:06

I like Isabella. It's way overused here but not as much there? Very pretty though. DH's great grandmother was Arabella, which I've always though was nice.

Rosamund?
Lorelai?
Eleanor/a?
Megan? :o (that's me)

migola · 07/04/2011 08:31

I really like emmeline & think you should work on your DH! Personally I'm not that keen on Emmy though & would go for Lina as nn instead
