Name for sister to Arthur and Edward?

I've just given birth to an adorable DD2, but DH and I are struggling to decide on a name to go with Arthur and Edward. We'd like a classic name(but not old-fashioned) that goes well with Arthur and Edward. Please help!

Arthurs in my family have had
Eliza, Iris, Florence, Betsy, Sarah as sisters... (also Joyce but wouldn't wish that on you...!)

Emma was the only queen of England to be married to 2 kings.

Also, classic (and vaguely royal)

  • Helena
  • Caroline
  • Eleanor
  • Marguerite/Margaret
  • Mary / Maria
  • Catherine
  • Alexandra
  • Elizabeth
  • Anne/ Anna

Thank you for all your suggestions!

I'm liking:
Alexandra/Alexandria
Evelyn
Florence
Helena (but I only like it pronounced He-lane=ah not Hell-en-ah)
Imogen
Louisa

Middle names will be Rose(my mother) Marguerite(DH's mother)
More suggestions wecome!

Thank you so much, I knew I could rely on MN! DH and I have talked and narrowed it down to:

Florence Rose Marguerite
Imogen Rose Marguerite
Louisa Rose Marguerite
Sophia Rose Marguerite
Ottoline Rose Marguerite (I love! DH not so sure)

Which sounds best?

Florence R M

kangers · 27/03/2011 08:45

I teach a student- Ottilie-Marie- are you sue Ottoline is correct? (Have a thing about misspelt names) This girl has Eastern European surname so think its genuine. EVERYONE asks her to repeat, repeat, repeat! Loving any of the others.

Like Florence R M but just can't get over the Cameron connection, so for me it would have to be Ottoline RM or Ottolie RM.

brightcopperkettles · 27/03/2011 10:14

Louisa R M is my very favourite from your list.

colditz · 27/03/2011 10:14

Alice.

brightcopperkettles · 27/03/2011 10:17

I also think that Anita Rose Marguerite sounds lovely!

bubbles12 · 27/03/2011 10:20
