Shirley

Shirley is my favourite name ever - I love it.
Dh has always said it is a bit close to dd2's name, but last night he said maybe that does not matter
So it is now a possibility. It is top of the list for me now I know dh would possibly use it. Dh prefers the other names on our list but could win him over i think.
So, what do you think?

My friend's gran is called Shirley - she's 91

Lovely to see my own name here! It's very old-fashioned at the moment but probably due a re-run sometime soon, like Jack and Emily have had recently.
One small downside though, everyone calls you Sheila and you spend a lot of time wondering whether to correct them.
