We have an Oliver.

Thinking of names for hypothetical DS2. Cannot think of a name that we like as much as Oliver!!

My list so far:

Isaac

DH's list so far:

Seth
Sebastian

What do you think, oh mighty ones..? Ideally need ideas that you think are a similar feel to Oliver. I feel like there is one out there that I am missing! Like old-fashioned proper names, that have nice nicknames! Thanks lots!

Xavier would be a good initial. Theo,Leo,Jerome(r?) Giles,Toby,Bruno.

Inigo = In-ig-go: a Spanish mediaeval name, origin uncertain. Most famously held by 15thC architect Inigo Jones.

Pelham = Pell-ham, place name or transferred surname.

Actually, in Pelham, the second syllable isn't stressed, so it's probably more Pell-um.

Sorry to say this, but Seb makes me think seborrhoea, which together with Ollie (which then and only then leaps to "Oily") is just too greasy a combo.

Zaft · 29/01/2011 03:16

Luke?

Slightly · 29/01/2011 04:19
