what other names do you like?

Getting fed up with not having a clue.

Quite like Hector. DH doesn't.

Quite like Fergus (even though our surname begins with 'F'. DH doesn't.

You can see a pattern emerging, can't you?

Hey, you are the one carrying the baby so you get to name it!!!

NightFury · 10/11/2010 17:00

Elliot.

thereisalightanditnevergoesout · 10/11/2010 17:00

Well, obviously I think you are talking complete sense - but I feel like DH should have a little input, seeing as he's had some already Grin.

OK, he is allowed power of veto over the hormone-influenced way out weird names. If DH hadn't been allowed this veto we would have had a Tycho and a Minerva. Grin

NightFury · 10/11/2010 17:03

Um.. Am sounding very dictatorial. Oops. Sorry.

Trouble is, he seems to veto prety much everything.

He likes Angus though and because he likes it, he's given up thinking about any others.

He likes James (a family name) but I put my foot down about that, then he switched to Monty and settled on that. But we're not parents of a Monty, if you know what I mean.

So now it's Angus.

Sigh.

What about Adam? I have a friend with a Hamish and a (brand new!) Adam!

thereisalightanditnevergoesout · 10/11/2010 17:27

I'm not keen on Adam for no fathomable reason, even though it's a fine name. I'm just irrational like that.

Are we definitely going with a Scottish theme here? Alistair hasn't been mentioned yet.

Rhubarbgarden · 10/11/2010 18:38

Ivor?
Ivan?

thereisalightanditnevergoesout · 10/11/2010 18:41

Not especially Scottish - though we both have Scottish family connections though not Scottish ourselves.
