Names you love but DP says 'no way!'

I love unusual names but OH is quite boring conventional so looks at me like I'm a complete loon sometimes!
Anyone else got names they love but will never be allowed to use?

Oh yes I like Ferris. And Octavia is another I'm not allowed. Along with Ophelia (love this name) and Fergus.

I am fond of Irish names like Niamh, Siobhan, Aisling etc as this is my 'heritage', DP is very much against this as he thinks no one here will be able to spell or pronounce them, including himself .

I in turn vetoed his choice of Daisy.

DH vetoed Vere. And yet he loves our DS's names - Algernon, Atticus and Cuthbert.

Nothing wrong with Edward or Patrick. I quite like Ophelia too but the others......(apart from the Irish names)

I always wanted to have 2 boys called Joseph and Stefan - he allowed Joesph but no chance of us having anymore which dh says is a good thing as he would never have allowed stefan!

Loved Mckenzie for a girl when I was pg but DH said no way. He wanted Jessicca which I vetoed. Think we agreed on Aimee eventually before finding out we were having a boy.
