Logan, Autumn, Ocean and ....... help!

Hi there,

We have a Logan, Autumn, Ocean and are now trying to think of another name that will go nicely.

We are trying to keep with the nature theme and also wondering if we need another 'n' name??

We are going round in circles and getting nowhere. The only names we have come up with are:

Beauden for a boy
Summer for a girl.
Sedona (we got married there).

All probably not right though - Beauden ?, Summer with Autumn probably too contrived and Sedona sounds like 'donor' plus it's a car.

Would so love any thoughts.

Hi CuppaTeaJanice, yes, still going round in circles. Just nothing seems to click. Some good suggestions though. Actually, I've just noticed the suggestion of Brooke - quite like that but hubby thinks it is too well used. I don't agree. Yes, I like your idea of a fire name but I don't like the actual names iyswim. And if it's a girl, not very feminine. Will have to make a decision soon as only a few weeks to go : ) How come you are still on here - similar predicament? : )

Winter

It can be used for a boy or a girl.

serendipity16 · 22/08/2010 18:00

We have a Summer & we were considering either Willow or Autumn for a girl.
I know a lot of people will say that Summer & Autumn don't go together but Autumn is a lovely name.

Willow would be a lovely name to go with the other names that you have.

I don't have the problem now as i had my 20wk scan last week & were having our 4th boy.
Boys names are so hard to pick, yet theres so many beautiful names out there for girls.

Fire names... Um,
Blaise,
Scarlett,
Aidan (means little fire)
Ash
Orson (almost like arson [arf])

MrsBadger · 22/08/2010 18:03

Other firey names:
Sol
Vesta
Star
Ash
Seren
Stella
Amber
Hera
Joash
Althea
Lumina
Apollo
Jupiter
Photios
Uri
and, marvellously, Phoenix

SoupDragon · 22/08/2010 18:06

Yes, Phoenix! Could be boy or a girl too.

deemented · 22/08/2010 18:11

Flame?

CuppaTeaJanice · 22/08/2010 18:15

I knew someone could find some nicer fire names!!!

I just lurk on the names topic because I like names, don't really know why!!

arizonagirl · 22/08/2010 19:17

Love Winter but again, we have an Autumn. Love Blaise and we seriously thought about this but apparently it means 'to stutter, stammer' - not nice. Serendepity - congrats on your boy bundle to be - I do tend to agree with you and we have also thought quite seriously about Willow. And I absolutely love Phoenix BUT our surname starts with an F and it sounds a complete mouthful. But some great ideas and some wonderful firey names and I am so grateful to everyone : )

Is it deliberate or conincidence that all of the names end with the letter n?

Would you like the final name to finsih with an n too?

arizonagirl · 22/08/2010 23:29

Hi A1980. It was a complete coincidence but now we have noticed the trend, we are wondering whether we should look for another 'n' name. Does restrict us a lot more so tempted to forget about it : )

:) Have you only just noticed now?

Jamieandhismagictorch · 23/08/2010 06:04

I also like Willow

Also -

Sky/e
Indigo
Saffron
Coral
Emerald

Wallace · 23/08/2010 07:06

I thought Bracken too

SoupDragon · 23/08/2010 09:41

Phonetically, Autumn ends with an M though.

Psammead · 23/08/2010 09:42

Linden?

ElephantsAndMiasmas · 23/08/2010 09:50

Couldn't you just spell it Blaze? Or love Ash because you've got the tree element there too.

I don't think Sedona is very nice, nor the two seasons together.

BuntyPenfold · 23/08/2010 14:06

Robin
Robyn
Ashlyn
Linnet
Sorrel
Morland
Cliff (sorry)

belgo · 23/08/2010 14:07

BuntyPenfold · 23/08/2010 15:27

I know a Midwinter - fab name. If due then obviously.

DastardlyandSmugly · 23/08/2010 15:40

Raven?

pranma · 23/08/2010 17:25

I like Storm for a boy
Tansy or Briony for a girl maybe
I knew a boy called Forest in USA

mumtoabeautifulbabyboy · 23/08/2010 21:21

Beaumont if you like Beau as a nn. Also translates as beautiful mountain so kind of fits in with the nature theme?

I don't think you need to think too much about the "n" ending, especially since "Autumn" doesn't end with an "n" sound the way most people say it.

What about Sunny as an alternative to Summer? Or Luna (as in moon)?

I also like Forest for a boy (especially since you have an Ocean. Or you could go with Woody!), or Rowan for either boy or girl.
