What do you reckon? Are they good enough to sell or am I kidding myself?

They're good enough, id pay £2 for one, or you could do 3 for £5?

StarBurger · 01/10/2016 14:45

They are cute! I would paid a quid or two!

Moomaloo · 01/10/2016 14:46

I would buy one. Love the robin

fastdaytears · 01/10/2016 14:46

I'd definitely buy some! £2 or 3 for £5 sounds like good value to me

avocadosweet · 01/10/2016 14:46

They look great!

guiltynetter · 01/10/2016 14:46

I think they are lovely. Have confidence in the things that you make Smile

WhirlwindHugs · 01/10/2016 14:48

I'd buy one for £2. Probably the robin - very cute.

AnthonyPandy · 01/10/2016 14:48

Are they for hanging on the tree? They're beautiful! I love the sparkly trees.

Ragwort · 01/10/2016 14:50

They are good and worth £2 in the right place - but I am not sure that people at a school Christmas Fair would pay that sort of money for them?

I do lots of fund raising events and this is one of the biggest difficulties, we make lovely, hand crafted items that would sell for £££s at an 'Artisan Craft Fair' or similar but at local school/Church/village hall type events people often won't spend what an item is really 'worth'.

Often at a school fair children go along with a fiver to last the whole afternoon so there is a limit to what people actually spend their money on.

Jinglebells99 · 01/10/2016 14:52

Lovely. Very neat stitching. My craft group did a Christmas craft fair last year, and though we had lovely stuff, a lot didn't sell. One of our ladies sells a lot, and she makes random quickly made stuff , that she sells very cheap. So bugs in jars, fabric mice, harvest mice, covered notebooks, she spray painted acorns gold and strung them up up and sold for 50p.

BennyTheBall · 01/10/2016 14:53

Yes, definitely good enough.

School fair? You need to sell them very cheaply as the children, ime, usually have about £10 to last them for everything.

Twogoats · 01/10/2016 15:01

They're lovely. I would buy one.

Garthmarenghi · 01/10/2016 15:03

I'd buy them.

iklboo · 01/10/2016 15:07

They're so cute. I'd buy 3 for £5. I wish I could buy some off you, actually!

fastdaytears · 01/10/2016 15:10

Sod the fair just sell them on here!

icouldabeenacontender · 01/10/2016 15:12

Another vote for sod the fair.
I reckon you can start taking orders on here right now.

BifsWif · 01/10/2016 15:14

I'd buy them, they're lovely!

RockinHippy · 01/10/2016 15:15

Very cute & very saleable. Unless you are selling for charity though, I think you under estimate yourself & you could sell for more. Tree decorations can be collectable & those types sell for more

YesItsMeIDontCare · 01/10/2016 15:20

They're lovely - but my tree has a blue & white theme... just mentioning in case you feel like doing a few to accommodate weirdos people like me who might have a "theme".

I think £1 is selling yourself short, £1.50 at the very least if you're not feeling confident. Like the idea of 3 for £5 if selling at £2 each.

yeOldeTrout · 01/10/2016 15:22

£1 max, each, sorry. I know you probably did them to a high standard & put lots of time into them, but my kids bring home very similar arty-crafty stuff, so I'd have to like yours hugely to add to the tree-clutter we already have.

I wondered about changing the design to brighter colours (yellows, bright orange, fuschia), more shiny bits. (okay more like Essex girl tat... ) that's what would sell here, I suspect. Less homey more snazzy.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 01/10/2016 15:24

Actually yes OP - do me 6 on a blue & white theme (sparkles are good) and I'll pay you £10 + p&p!!!
