What do you reckon? Are they good enough to sell or am I kidding myself?

Thanks for ALL your comments - some stuff to think about there. Definitely will take on board the info on price. I would much rather sell loads for £1 each than try and charge more and have them left. I make one in an evening so fairly time consuming but I find sewing very therapeutic so factoring in my time is not on the agenda.
Thanks for the advice on other colours, I will make some blues even though it goes against all my purest tendancies - trees are green don't you know?
Thanks everyone

I really like them, especially the White bird and trees in pots. Have a think about other designs too, e.g. Stars, snowmen etc.

But snow is white and cold snow has a blue tinge to it!!!

Maybe try putting some on eBay, list them as "Handcrafted, Limited Edition Designer Tree Decorations" starting price 99p each or maybe list a bundle together - I'm guessing if you word your listing correctly, you will get quite a bit more than £1. They would probably go well on sites like Etsy too.

I agree with doing a bigger variation of colours though, we have reds, turquoises & silvers on our tree to match the room decor, but looking at current decorating trends would probably be a good idea & use colours that would sit well on a tree in that setting

Id buy pink, purple and glitter, to show up on a darkish tree.
More robins, bright pink instead of red, or bluebirds for happiness.

Gisela Graham sell some similar Christmas hanging decorations.

ShmooBooMoo · 02/10/2016 14:22

Yes, good enough! But you need a penguin and a Christmas pud too!

PoppyPicklesPenguin · 02/10/2016 14:28

I think their beautiful!

I'd be happy to pay a bit more than £2

But I really appreciate the time and effort that goes into these things as make all sorts of things myself Smile

There really lovely

Mummyshortlegz · 02/10/2016 14:31

String them together and make it into bunting and that will increase the value!

LucyLot · 02/10/2016 14:31

Yes they're quite good.

MrsBungle · 02/10/2016 14:35

I think they're really good, definitely worth a couple of quid, maybe even £3. I would pay that.

WatchingFromTheWings · 02/10/2016 14:36

Definitely good enough to sell! I'd say £2 each/3 for £5.
