Her colours and textures are lovely.

I must have done the head in of the woman in a nearby quilting shop in my hunt for the perfect light orange. I've nailed my yellows and pinks. Thought I had the blues but one looks out of place.

I cheated when I attempted quilting for the first time ( during covid lockdown) . I bought a set of charm squares from a destash group just to see how I liked it . That way I didn’t have to cut precisely 😂

That's very cute @bookbook and your piecing and binding look spot on. I have quite a few precuts, the quilt that I just finished used a layer cake and the one I'm about to start uses a jelly roll. I don't think of it as cheating and it's the only way to get the entirety of one collection as shops generally pick and choose just a few bolts.
