Would anyone be interested in a monthly/bimonthly A&C swap?

GreebosWhiskers · 14/01/2008 21:27

Since there are a lot of us & we cover a lot of different crafts I wondered if anyone would be interested in the occasional swap? It wouldn't be for big stuff, just little knick-knacks like lavender bags, corsages, things like that, or if you don't want to make something then maybe wee crafty bits for your recipient to play with. I thought if we set a theme & a price limit then let everyone just do their own thing. I mean, who doesn't like free stuff (especially hand-made free stuff)?

I'd be happy to co-ordinate it & we wouldn't all be expected to take part in every swap - just sign up to the ones you fancy as & when they're posted. We can tailor our swaps to reflect special holidays etc. If any swap has less than 3 participants it'll be postponed or abandoned.

Can anyone who would be interested please post here & also email me on Floralmac at aol dot com. Also ideas for themes would be appreciated. If you could copy & paste the questionnairre below into your post then you'll stand a better chance of getting things you'll like

I'll go first

Allergies: None.
Favourite colours: unusual combinations that shouldn't necessarily go, vintage styles, greens, pinks, reds, greys (at the moment!)

Favourite treat: anything that will help facilitate a long tranquil soak in the bath...(after a nice cup of tea of course!)

Whizzz · 15/01/2008 16:29

OOOOO yes this sounds fun & might make me get off my bum & DO something crafty instead of just playing with my beads

Name : Whizzz
Craft : Beady jewellery
Allergies : None
Fave Colours : Lime green, shades of purple, turquoise blues (anything really but NO pink!)
Fave scents : the sea, not too flowery although I do like lavender
Fave treat : (not including white wine) anything sparkly, cute fluffy things, choc, a day by the seaside

Mailing you now Great Idea!

Dingle · 15/01/2008 17:42

My beady skills aren't up to much...I can knit OK though...but apart from that my main craft is cardmaking...not much to offer for a swap is it!!

GreebosWhiskers · 15/01/2008 22:40

Dingle - why are card-making skills not much good for a swap?

Hand-made cards are fab & everyone needs birthday/Christmas/Easter etc cards.

Plus you can knit - what more do you need?

The swaps will have different themes & you only sign up for the ones you want to take part in. Please consider signing up [pleading ]

Can I just ask everyone who hasn't already done so to email me on Floralmac at aol dot com so I can get in touch to give out partners' details?
