I've just found the bag of fabrics I knew I had but had misplaced! I have lots of bunting & am going to make a couple of festive cushion covers but could do with some other ideas for small, fairly simple projects, tree decoration that sort of thing.

You can get hoops for making wreaths from Hobbycraft or on eBay. I made a couple of the rag ones a couple of years ago and will be using them again this year. I also made some bunting triangles attached to a long thin cloth for the mantelpiece.

@bellinisurge the warehouse is definately worth a visit if youre ever near leicester. Its heaven for quilters with loads of american and german quilting cotton at very reasonable prices, plus all the different kinds of wadding/batting and tools. They have whole walls of shelving with hundreds of precut fat quarters starting at 99p.

I go in looking for 2 yards of plain cotton and come out with 20 FQs 6 yards of various fabrics, a new pair of scissors, cutt ing mat, 3000 buttons, 10 yards of bias binding, a couple of cross stitch kits......... And a big dent in my bank account
