at marina

its just "baby luke".

My kids really really like things that come from shop. eg

DS: gosh i would like a pair of dragon mittens

ME: OOOH dragon mittens, now I could MAKE some of those for you, fillyboy. Wouldn't that be fun?

DS: Thats very kind of you mummy but can we go to the shop, please?

ME : We could go to the WOOL SHOP and you could choose the wool....

and so on.

I am thinking of doing the log cabin as a baby blanket but i also have another idea involving cables and karyograms (those pictures of chromosomes all paired up) oh and a big list and no time...aaargh. I need an extra day just for knitting really. or i could get my ar$e off here....

sorry ceolas-stunting. I have this thing. If my kids want a gender-cross toy i worry if i don't buy it for them. so dd knows she only has to look at a car and it is hers.

but baby luke is going to far, i think. Its just a sodding DOLL dressed in blue. I know i just have to wait for summer fete season and there will be hundreds of the things, just waiting to have jumpers knitted for themm...

Marina, i thought you were knitting from stash????

Marina · 28/06/2007 18:23

oh, er, hello there florence

Ceolas · 28/06/2007 18:23

Ahem, yes marina. Stash????

I spent a fortune on the same cotton for mine and it did indeed feel good. Said blanket is less than half done however

Well, the minute I get it home and lob it onto the groaning pile in my wardrobe it will become stash, so, um

Ceolas · 28/06/2007 18:50

Ah yes I see your logic.

I started the baby kimono a week ago, and have had to abandon it due to ever increasing pain in my hands and arms. Damn being pregnant, I think I am developing late pregnancy carpal tunnel type symptoms.

I aim to sulk!
