I just can't think of anything to do
Make a dress or bag
Crochet
Get the hot glue gun out
Beading
Maybe I have too much choice, but what have you made recently that you have enjoyed

I made some jeans for DS aged 8. With Harry Potter themed stitching on the pockets.

incywincybitofa · 13/04/2018 15:11

Ooh that sounds exciting I bet 8YO was thrilled how did you do HP stitching?

Sewed some leggings using a commercial pattern but altered them to accommodate my bump. Practically living in them.
Also learnt to crochet and making a baby blanket, very proud

Crocheted a spaceman for a gift - it's the first thing I've made without a pattern and so pleased with how it turned out (although there was an awful lot of undoing and starting over)

My Frida Kahlo skirt, made today! It's a bit tight around the arse (I didn't use a pattern) but I'm pleased.

These projects are gorgeous! I really love the Frida skirt and the Persian tiles blanket is the nicest crochet blanket I've ever seen.

incywincybitofa · 28/04/2018 23:57

That is an awesome blanket.

I've turned a Billy bookcase into a 3 story doll house for dds birthday next week.

She is obsessed with barbie sized dolls and they will all fit. Still to ad a few details/decorations.its been fun.

TheClitterati · 29/04/2018 00:43

@FabalaTheGreenGirl where did you get that amazing fabric!?

ScreamingValenta · 29/04/2018 00:50

That skirt is fabulous.

FabalaTheGreenGirl · 29/04/2018 08:43

The fabric is from ebay and it's by Alexander Henry (there may still be some left if you're quick). Wolf and Badger sell a skirt in this exact fabric for £159 so I'm even more chuffed, As this one was £15 for a metre of fabric!

FabalaTheGreenGirl · 29/04/2018 08:43

Thanks folks :)

GreyCloudsToday · 29/04/2018 08:45

Top Frida skirt!! Nice job

hugoagogo · 29/04/2018 08:48

That spaceman is amazing!
I have made an infinity scarf from some cute octopus print jersey sadly as soon as I put it on I look exactly like my dm Shock so i probably won't wear it much.

incywincybitofa · 29/04/2018 13:38

@Theclitterati have you got pics of your books case or where you got the idea from
I have just Annie Sloaned some shelves for DDs new bedroom

TheClitterati · 29/04/2018 17:02

It's not quite finished yet but I'll post some pics soon.

If you google "billy bookcase dollhouse" this is what started me off.

I'm using the Ikea doll furniture.

Catmint · 29/04/2018 17:05

Am I invisible? Confused

TheClitterati · 29/04/2018 17:05

I didn't do a pitched roof - dd will probably want a pool up there Grin

And I am leaving some of the floors & walls for dd to decorate herself as I know she will enjoy that.
