Border for solid granny square blanket

Can anyone help me find a simple border to add to my solid granny square blanket? I am currently joining all the squares and have searched the internet in vain for a simple pattern to follow once I'm ready to add the border, but can't find anything suitable. I'll pop back tomorrow and add some pics of my progress so far.
Thanks in advance.

Thank you @Fieau in fact I joined a few months back when I started learning to crochet and completely forgot about it! Will get back on there for inspiration Smile

Wow, that's gorgeous! I have also made the Attic 24 granny stripe, it's nice and relaxing to make and the end result is lovely. I'm going to save that palette of yours and do myself a rainbow sometime.

It looks fabulous, well done.

My 14yo ds has an Attic24 coast ripple on his bed and he loves it.

My mum loved it! She put it on her sofa straight away and it looks as if its always been there.
@HardAsSnails I think it is fab that your teenage DS has his own handmade blanket, lucky lad!

That is so beautiful and your mother must have been so touched.

I can't crochet (though I used to knit) but you have inspired me to give it a go.

Aw thanks for all the lovely messages. I have the crochet bug now @Askance , I taught myself and was completely rubbish at first! Attic 24 is a great site for clear tutorials with pics, lots of people like Bella Coco but I couldn't get on with her Grin
Now started on a chunky monochrome blanket for DS, its nice because the chunky wool means it is growing quickly, which after my hours of solid granny squares is light relief!
