Can someone please tell me what a Sizzix machine is and how you use it?

it's a die cutting machine. Used for cutting different shapes out of paper. You use it by putting a piece of card under a die and then pressing down with a lever.

It's an addictive habit Grin

So the little bits that you can buy for them (the shapes etc) they are stencils (blades) and the shape gets cut out?
I don't get the mechanics.

it cuts more than just paper.

The "dies" are blocks with a certain shape on and you use the machine to apply the pressure needed to cut.

It can cut all sorts of materials used in cardmaking and scrapbooking

No really I'm getting all excited just thinking about it-then realising with my track record of bizarre freak accidents-may not be such a good idea.
Suze you bad girl. I think you will see my creeping and fawning is most effective & will get me into the crafty gang.

Can you get arse shapes. I can do a card and send it to FF, or perhaps some ribs? She gets very excited about those when she isn't cacking herself in her bath
