Yes, have a closer inspection. I'm hoping it's a tablemobile, but would be happy for you if it is a sewing machine Grin

My deceased uncles old house has a manual Singer sewing machine with the foot pedal in its own cabinet. Is it worth something, or do people like them for vintage value?

House can't be sold as its interstate, or something like that, so been as there empty since 2007.

TheOneWithTheHair · 04/04/2013 08:47

Oh. Go and get it. The longer you wait te more chance you'll miss it!

JollyPurpleGiant · 04/04/2013 08:48

Go! I'm very jealous!

cheesecheeseplease · 04/04/2013 09:31

OP posts:
cece · 04/04/2013 09:32

Yes go and get it but ask the person who 'owns' the skip first. I used to hoik all sorts of stuff out of skips to sell on eBay. Always aske first though.

cheesecheeseplease · 04/04/2013 09:34

I tried cece but the house is empty I shall put a note through the door

SoupDragon · 04/04/2013 09:37

I would be tempted to take it now and let them know.

scurryfunge · 04/04/2013 09:40

Grin at Tethersend

rockinhippy · 04/04/2013 09:41

Just take it - quick, before someone else does -

Yes its good manners to ask, but no one is going to sue/arrest you for taking what is now rubbish to be thrown out & no one else will ask, but will take it
