Anyone got their Ellison "Big Shot" yet???

Just wondering if anyone has been lucky enough to get theirs to play with over the Christmas hols?! - I'm still waiting for mine to arrive - should be in a few days (if the guy in the shop isn't pulling a fast one..) Have bought loads of dies and cardstock - so all I want is my new toy!! If anyone has got theirs yet - spill the beans....is it good/worth it/worth the wait?! PS - didn't want to mention "where" I ordered mine from as didn't want to start up a bit of a row concerning suppliers!! -

this is the suppliers chance to put this mess right. he had it in his hand on the 30th and said he was passing it over to the couriers at 4pm for delivery the next day...hopefully it will turn up soon

Oh AQ...I really hope this horrid mess gets sorted. You won that Big Shot fair and sqaure by being on the ball. It would be a terrible shame if the supplier didnt come up with the goods. Not very good publicity for him is it???

sorry--- i am going mad. NOT the 30th. the 23rd he said it was going to the courier, delivery on 24th - christmas eve

Out of interest, another cyber pal ordered hers from another supplier and was expecting hers today. She has been let down too as the couriers don't start back up until 3rd Jan. Must be so very frustrating!

hmmm, bit of a dirty trick to play then - saying that they have 'em in thier hands, just to get loads of orders I suppose.

I suppose it makes good business sense to get the orders in. I expect people who sell craft stuff don't realise that crafters go mental when they have stuff arriving in post. You know, checking post everyday, dreaming about it at night. Getting thoroughly excited over some mulberry paper in a new shade. No excuse though. Can't say too much as this post will be deleted again.

nah, couldn't wait, far too impatient and wanted moneys worth as was bit cynical. Can you imagine having a week off work and your toys arriving the day you go back. Shudder.
