madmollie · 28/12/2005 12:58

New Mum, Madmollie here - will check them out - not sure where our nearest store would be - maybe Brighton?

madmollie · 28/12/2005 13:05

OMG - DH has just walked in with new ink cartridges - he just paid a fortune for 'em - and I was just looking at the price of them on Lidl's site - thanks so much for the info Turkeystuffer - I think a little trip to Lidl is on the cards now - the filing cabinet might be a good idea too for all those scrapy bits and bobs - apparently there is a store in Eastbourne. cheers! :0)

madmollie · 28/12/2005 13:06

PS - Madmoll here again - whereabouts are you scrappers then - from all over???!! -

Pixiefish · 28/12/2005 14:19

madmollie- My dh sells ink cheaper than the Lidl prices. if you want to PM me I'll email you the link to his website and you can have a look there

madmollie · 28/12/2005 14:29

Thanks Pixiefish - may do that - think he paid way too much

JayzMummysATurkeyStuffer · 28/12/2005 17:33

pixiefish...chuck me a link too....I use loads of ink!!!

IwannawishuaKIWIchristmas · 28/12/2005 21:32

if your dh sells ink refills (for printer) I would be interested too... it has cost us way more than the machine in ink cartridges!!

Pixiefish · 28/12/2005 21:43

PM me and I'll email the link back. Yorkie buys her ink off him (I get mine-lol)

PM me and I'll sort the prices out for you and email you back tomorrow

IwannawishuaKIWIchristmas · 28/12/2005 22:00

done... let me know if you don't hear from me via CAT

UCM · 28/12/2005 22:09

word of warning, my mate in Cartridge world told me not to use his cheapies in my Epsom printer. Apparently it blocks the heads. Should use recommended ones. With previous printers I have injected/used cheapies. But if you want good photos (if your printer is a photytype one) don't use cheapies.

kiwibella · 28/12/2005 22:13

thanks for the warning UCM.. I have an epsom. It is so annoying that it costs around £50 to replace the six cartridges with Epsom refills. The machine was £100 a year or so ago so we have more than doubled the cost.

Pixiefish · 28/12/2005 22:23

there's cheap ink and there's cheap ink.
dh sells iso 9001 approved ink. I have to admit that i use the compatibles and have no problems whatsoever with quality or with the printer.

Kiwi, I too have paid a fortune for epson cartridges. Really really annoying. But I was told this by a techie who sells cheap ones, so I have heeded this advice as I cannot afford to keep replacing my printer.

No offence meant to anyone selling cartridges as I did buy them with my several lexmarks & a hp.

UCM- I used to be wary of it all as well, even with dh selling it BUT I have been using it for ages now and have had no probs. No offence taken- just passing on money saving tips

Pixiefish · 28/12/2005 22:38

Cheers Yorkie.

He sells them cheaper to people i know so as to keep his turnover of them high and that way the ink stays fresh

ChampsOnIce · 29/12/2005 01:24
