Hi

I am 12 weeks 4 days pregnant.
I had the usual scan at 12 weeks and opted for the screening.
My results came back high and i am so so worried/anxious.
So they have gave the baby a 1.1 chance of having down syndrome.
I didnt ask on the phone what had had this result as i checked babys NT and it was 2.8 as far as im aware this is normal?
Can only think its something in my bloods?

We are having a harmony test tuesday so we can be prepared. Has anyome had a high risk result and a low risk resukt through the harmony test?

Im so anxious i feel so ill.
Im 33 and have two healthy children.

Thank you.

So im booked in on saturday to be induced 😭
I am petrified at the thought of it but have accepted its the price i have to pay 💔💔
I have to find comfort in knowing i can say im sorry i didnt feel fit enough to give them the quality of life they deserve. Always remembered never forgotten.
I am trying to dig deep within my soul to find the courage to get through this and accept what choice i have made. This wasnt made lightly or without many tears from us. I dont know if ill ever forgive myself or deserve too 😭💔
I feel incredibly sad and lost.
Thank you for your kind words as always x

@Mum2boys12 you are making the right decision for you and your family, you know yourself. You will ride so many emotions and have so much pain and trauma. You need to be gentle and kind with yourself. Much love ❤️

Don't say you don't deserve forgiveness, you are making the best choice for you and your family, a choice which takes a lot of courage. It is presented as the easy way out by some but it definitely isn't. You will feel tremendous grief but one day you will accept the choice you made and realise there is nothing that needs forgiving.

There is a site called endingawantedpregnancy.com (sorry, I don't know how to do links) which helped me a lot during the first dark days after the termination. You might find it helpful as well.
Sending you love and strength xx
