Hi All,

Had a combined test done at my 12 week pregnancy scan they found my NT was 2.6mm and my bloods done showed 1 in 8 chances of DS. Had my CVS test done yesterday and awaiting results next week Tuesday.

Wondered if anyone is awaiting results for CVS tests? Or if anyone has had it done and had results back what was the outcome?

I'm trying to weigh up how likely it will come up negative!! Confused

Thanks ahead for any comments and advice or answers.

@Mya2021how funny, I was just thinking about you and was going to message a little later as I remember you are at the hospital appointment today. Is that later? x

You shouldn't worry about me with everything you are going through, thank you. I had 20 week scan on Sat and things looked better xx

@Simz01

So happy for your great news love hearing positive outcomes makes me so happy.

Yes had my app this morning and my surgical is booked for this week Wednesday.

Turns out I never actually had the surgery that they thought I had the person misinterpreted it which I don't know who.! Will need to find out. The date of the surgery I last had was 10 years ago but their claiming it was 3 years ago. So I could have had my surgery with Bpas 3 weeks ago. Due to this misunderstanding I have had to wait an extra 3 weeks as they assumed I would be high risk. Turns out I am not at all.

Gosh what a nightmare this has been just looking forward to getting over the whole thing now.

Also I requested not to know the sex of the baby and they have sent me a letter home stating the Sex in the report. When clearly the lady I spoke to said she would cross it out or add a label over it.

What an absolute nightmare!!!

@Mya2021 sorry I didn't respond earlier.

So sorry for all you are going through and the delays - what a complete nightmare with all the 'admin' errors!

Your procedure is today, sorry I couldn't message yesterday. I am thinking of you - hope all goes as smoothly as can under the circumstances xxx

Good Morning,

Just a little update had the surgical yesterday went well they said no complications. Got home yday evening went straight to sleep. Cramps were really bad last night and lower back pain.

The 2 tablets they gave me to insert had them in for 2 hours and cramps all the way through just say on a chair waiting for the operation. Then after 2 hours my water broke on the ward so they rushed me into the theatre room to get it done. Was such a fast panic and rush.

Woken up today with less cramps but their still there and not really able to eat much.

Don't know how long the cramping is suppose to last for.

Hi @Mya2021,

That sounds so tough what you went through. How are you feeling today? are the cramps any better? I hope you can take some rest and time out to try and make some recovery both physically and mentally, although i realise it will take time.

I am glad it is over now tough xx

@Simz01

I'm doing really well now thanks not in any pain but still (TMI) bleeding 9th day and bleeding only little spots now so maybe it's calming down. Cramps are on and off.

But my stomach is still quiet but I wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this? I still look pregnant. Bit confusing really assumed would go down by now.
