Hi all,

I had my nuchal scan today. They dated me at 13 weeks and the nt measurement was 3mm. I am 28 years old.

I know 3.5mm is the max limit, but I'm feeling extremely anxious that I'm so close to that limit.

I won't get my blood test results back until after Easter now.

Anyone else get a similar measurement to this? If so, how did things turn out? Know it's different for everyone, just need some reassurance Sad

Thanks xxx

Stay strong Sophie. That's really sad news but it says a huge amount about your character to be so positive for someone else at this time. Sending you love and prayers Thanks

Stay strong Sophie Flowers

Cally I'm so pleased for you- I'm not sure about Harmony, I would recommend calling and asking a doctor that provides the test for better answers?

Thanks Cally, I really mean it. It was such a dark day but reading your lovely news at the end of it was like a light in the darkness and a hopeful reminder that things can turn out well. It is so lovely. My husband and girls are being very kind to me, as are my neighbours and girlfriends and the lovely Mumsnetters. So it is a sad time but I am lucky to have, and am grateful for all the love and support.

My husband received his 23andme results yesterday (it was a Xmas gift & he sent off for it before I even knew I was pregnant)

Worryingly he has a 'variant present' for muscular dystrophy.

Could this be why my hcg is high and why I had been flagged after nuchal screening?

We are due to get the full karyotype results from the cvs next week, so I suppose if it is MD, it would show up on those results?

Husbands family have no history of MD

Just wanted to update you all. I just got a call from the hospital saying the full karyotype results are in and everything is normal.

I am beyond thrilled and relieved. Going out for dinner tonight with DH, so going to surprise him then with the news and to let him know the sex :-)

Happy weekend all and thank you once again for all of your help and support. Xxxxxxxx
