Hi all, I am new to MN. I am curious so help me out here. I am wondering if people feel that their MN friends are more supportive than their real friends.

And do you tend to confess more and be more honest on MN because you can stay anonymous.

Let me know what you think.

I think my first post was about worms.

OP - to answer your question, I have very few RL friends since I started spending all my time on MN

plumbum

flame and I met at an induction day back in... 2001, we were both starting work for tesco.

we were sat next to each other, and part of out induction was to give a little life story to each other person there (was about 16 of us IIRC) and use crayons and paper to do so (god, writing about it sounds most odd.....it really seemed normal at the time tho, I promise).

anyhooo...

flame and I were the only two who used all the paper and all the crayons.....both of us had colourful lives.

plus, we both had similar interests, even tho she was at that point early 20's and not married, (she was with her now DH tho), and also child-free. I already had 4 children!

as our shifts matched, we palled up, and made friends, and I now consider her my best friend. She has been through lots with me, and me with her, and I hope she thinks of me in the same way. I love her to bits, and her children, and I know my kids love her and her children too.

I got on MN first tho, and told her about it.....and we kind'a got sucked in.
