DH skid marks!!!

trickyricki · 19/02/2010 17:42

For Christmas I brought my DH new underwear to last him for the year. Over the past few weeks when sorting out the dirty wash i've noticed that his boxers are full of big brown skids!!!

I've never noticed this the 9 years I've been married, but it's now getting to the point where I want to approach him and talk about it because he's coming home from work and openly putting his boxers into the dirty wash, it's not even like he's embarrassed and trying to hide them!

It is a huge deal if you know someone else is going to innocently put a bare hand into a laundry basket and touch poo. This is a grown adult here, not a baby in nappies.

MrsPixie · 20/02/2010 20:54

This is a car-crash thread, I can't. stop. reading

scaryhairycat · 20/02/2010 23:10

Lol @ "dingleberries" zazen!

pinksmarties · 20/02/2010 23:31

Oh my god this is so funny. Its so nice to go up to bed whilst pmsl after being on here.

My stbx once left a skiddy on the side of the bed too. He also used tons of vaselene on his balls too otherwise they'd get sore apparently.

He's so fucking gross.

btw, what does troll mean ? I don't understand.

illgetyoubutler · 20/02/2010 23:38

yes real sweetcorn.
his words.

BigHairyLeggedScot · 20/02/2010 23:57

I'm a massage therapist too, and I've been farted on aplenty, but luckily had no poo incidents. When I first started practicing I used to have a client with the most minging feet in the world. They stank horribly, and she had the worst yellowing, curly sharp toenails in the world. Like claws. Otherwise she was perfectly presentable. I never understood why she didn't just cut the bloody things.

Being new I didn't have the balls to request she sort them out or I wouldn't touch them so I'd have to, and it was gross.

saramoon · 21/02/2010 15:16

My DH has a jug by the toilet and will fill it with water and actually clean his bottom EVERY time he has a poo.. No skidmarks in our house.

SixtyFootDoll · 21/02/2010 15:34

Is this a serious thread??

Either he has no personal hygiene whatsoever and I'm amazed you didn't say anything the first time this happened or he has a genuine medical condition (bowel problem/ nerve problem) and should be investigated.
Either way, you need to talk to him!

We are all a bit particular in this household and use wipes (my DH actually washes)!

Mrsdoasyouwouldbedoneby · 21/02/2010 20:01

Maybe he has a problem? DH is a bit overweight and has problems in there meaning he erm, leaks, a bit so he does leave skids. I just ignore it now, wash them, and don't mention it.

mathanxiety · 21/02/2010 20:06

ROFling at the electrocuted cat, MadameDeathStare I can picture the steady air of defiance......and the sparks

(And also the cattle prod suggestion)

Jamieandhismagictorch · 21/02/2010 20:16

Madam - my cat does that too (without the static). She also once ate a piece of tinsel and ran around the room trailing it out of her arse .....

Re the OP (if real) I couldn't actually have sex with someone with such poor personal hygiene. That would be my "hint"

Jamieandhismagictorch · 21/02/2010 20:19

Ooooh, Oooh - forgot my first supervisor. He (poor thing) had IBS, but would just fart at any time without so much as a by-your-leave: in meetings, with clients (he was a psychologist). Would actually lift up one bum cheek and trump.

mathanxiety · 21/02/2010 20:39

Mine once ate a piece of string and it emerged out the other end with a, ehem, dingleberry at the end of it, bobbing around. I had to don a rubber glove and corner her to pull the whole shebang out. She wasn't amused.

gaaaaaagh

AgentProvocateur · 21/02/2010 21:01

mathanxiety, I presume you mean your cat and not your DH!

scaryhairycat · 21/02/2010 21:05

ROFL!! What is it with cats and stuff protruding out of their rear ends?! I had a cat once who would regularly wonder round with half the lawn sticking out of her backside!

mathanxiety · 21/02/2010 21:06

Oh heavens yes LOL

thesleepyprincess · 21/02/2010 21:09

This thread has totally cheered me up. I haven't laughed so much in weeks.

(What does that say about my sense of humour?!)

Thanks all!

Icanseethesea · 21/02/2010 21:12

pmsl at MadameDeathStare's cat!

PfftTheMagicDragon · 21/02/2010 21:14

Mansolo is a great name

serenity · 21/02/2010 21:15

If it's a recent thing, it might not actually be skid marks. Men can be prone to getting infected ingrowing hairs in that region, which then leak pus and warrant a rather painful and uncomfortable operation (especially if they've been too embarrassed to get it checked out because they've been assuming it's skid marks and everyone gets so weird about bowel related stuff)

If it is poo, then he needs to look at why. Is he really going to have a sudden decrease in hygiene after all this time? I've had two relatives with bowel cancer, it's not pleasant, but it's worse if you ignore it.

If this is a serious post OP, I would suggest he gets checked out by his GP.

Thank god and all his seraphim that this is a problem I have never encountered with a DP.

I would be horrified and it would be curtains for any relationhsip if skiddy pants were left lying around.

MrsZuko · 22/02/2010 16:35

This happens to my DH on occasion - his excuse is that he suffers from piles which means that when they're really inflamed, he only ever gives his arse a cursory once-over wiping.

I sort the washing very gingerly and make him wear pants in bed.
