Hmmm...depends how much you hate him.

MamaG · 31/12/2009 22:22

pigletmania · 31/12/2009 22:22

is it good then?

pigletmania · 31/12/2009 22:24

I have even shaved them until they bled a bit because my feet itch sometimes and it feels nice.

I payed about £9 for mine, the local market does the same rip off version for £3 i could have kicked myself, not worth that money tbh.

someone poster earlier this year about buying a cheap ped egg and it turned out to be basically a cheese grater (am I remembering this right?) She said it ripped her feet to shreds.

At least you'll have nice feet for the spring. Mine are revolting, I can't even look at them.

KurriKurri · 31/12/2009 22:36

Am thinking of investing in one, I've got feet like a lizard.

dwpanxt · 31/12/2009 22:41

Oooh .I love mine too.It was a big surprise though that the shavings were so fine. I was expecting ...um ..maybe grated cheese? I got talc!

I only paid £1 for it though and its excellent- no blood and definitely only shaves what its supposed to.

someone told me that walking on a sandy beach is a good way to get rid of hard skin on your feet. I wonder if it's true?

pigletmania · 31/12/2009 22:43

I would recommend it, certainly smoother, than i put some body butter on them felt so nice, my dd was taking so long in the bath that i thought that i may as well pamper my feet whilst singing nursery rynmes to her.

I've been thinking of getting one of these. I never had any trouble with hard skin while I was working and wearing trainers constantly. Since having DS and mostly wearing flip flop open type snadalsa lot my feet are not nice at all

notimetotidy · 01/01/2010 10:00

My heels were all split and bleeding after a summer of wearing flipflops and sandals (very dry skin on my feet). I got one of these and it was brilliant. After years of trying all sorts of lotions, scrubbers, pumice stones, etc the Ped Egg worked - it was like magic. I would thoroughly recommend it.

Hulababy · 01/01/2010 10:02

I have a Ped Egg and just don't get it. I find it rubbish and it has done nothing to sort my feet out. Was really dissapointed.

carocaro · 01/01/2010 10:32

Tis' one of the life joys to Ped Egg one's feet into smooth, crunch free-ness, a walk hence forth like a gossamer fairy.

In fact DH was Ped Egging his heels just after midnight last night, he has a particularly troublesome corn. We totally rocked NYE!

If you look in the new NEXT Directory they have an electric hand held hard skin remover, which is interesting, but then again think of all the calories you burn do it manually!

BelleDameSansMerci · 01/01/2010 10:36

I also sort my feet while DD bathes... Haven't got a Ped Egg but think will get one now.

I had an electronic one and it was rubbish. I suspect that I do have very hard feet though.

Pineapplechunks · 01/01/2010 10:54

I have one too and can't recommend it enough, they're brill.

I got mine on ebay for a quid with a futher quid for delivery, I think.

Works wonders.

LesAnimaux · 31/12/2010 19:48

ha, ha Bump!

sungirltan · 31/12/2010 19:52

i bought mine in wilco for £8 but i don't begrudge the money its brillaint! plus since you dont need to moisturise your feet much if you use it i reckon you save money anyway.

everyone should get one! they make feet just lovely and it lasts for weeks before you need to do it again

SarahStrattonsBaubles · 31/12/2010 19:54

Going to freak you all... I use this and then a pumice to smooth my feet. Much quicker and so, so satisfying watching the shavings pile up in a nice big heap.

KurriKurri · 31/12/2010 20:31

Good grief - just read this and realised I posted on it exactly a year ago. Guess what - tired of my reptilian feet DD bought me a ped egg with a handle for Christmas. I love it Grin

Dear God Sarah what the hell is that instrument of torture - I'm going to have nightmares now Grin

SalvadorDalek · 31/12/2010 20:38

sorry I thought it was about a pet egg

FudgeGirl · 31/12/2010 20:40

Oh I've got a foot file (Scholl?) and it has been a revelation for me.

I can't actually touch my own feet, I hate them. They are nice feet, I just hate the feeling of touching my heels (I had eczema as a child and my mum had to put stuff on them, hence I hate having them touched now) but this file is AMAZING. I now have lovely soft feet :)

charliesmommy · 31/12/2010 20:42

One of those Tickle Toes fish spa places has just opened in our local shopping centre. So funny today watching people sitting there with their feet in a fish tank...

One woman must have had rotten feet as the fish just stayed on the bottom and didnt go near her toes.. she should have asked for a refund!

SarahStrattonsBaubles · 31/12/2010 20:44

It doesn't hurt at all. You just shave little bits of dead skin off with a flicky motion. It whisks through hard feet in no time at all with virtually zero effort.
