Oh is that in Redditch Charliesmommy? I saw it a few weeks ago, think I could actually manage to have a go at that now!

I noticed I posted back in 2009 on this thread about wanting one of these. Well I borrowed my Mums when she came over to see me as my feet had started to go really hard and started to crack. By the time I went to see my Mum and took it back (she had forgot it and left it behind) my feet were painfully sore, so she took me to her chiropodist and I needed some anti-biotic cream. Chiropodist said she was very against Ped Eggs but not to sure whether that was protecting her business. I think I will still get one as my foot file doesn't seem man enough

Mum has been and had the fishy treatment and she said it was fantastic

I actually did have a pet egg once.

When I was 12.

I took it from under a chicken, and thought it would hatch if I kept it under a pile of my jumpers.

It didn't hatch. Sad

I also confess to taking an old box cheese grater to my Mums feet years ago. They are super manky and she said at the time it was wonderfull

Fudge, no this is in Kingston, Surrey, but I think they are opening all over the place at the moment.

Have to say I am a bit "ummmmm" about the care of the fish in these places after seeing a fish jump out today and the prat who worked there say "oh dont worry they can be on the floor fifteen mins and they will be ok"....

I like the idea of the fishy pedicure, but not if its at the expense of cruelty to the fish, and I very much doubt the people rushing to open the places up, as they are the "in thing" at the moment will be too concerned about trivialities like that. Certainly didnt seem that way today.

Ooh be careful, if you go a bit far it can be very painful!

Soups · 31/12/2010 21:39

I love mine :) I do lots of walking and get many hard bits on my feet, the average foot file doesn't do anything for them.

PawPuss · 31/12/2010 21:43

Oh dear, those fishy pedicure places are springing up everywhere. I really am a bit concerned about the welfare of the fish.
