Grape Pizza?

Rosebud05 · 10/12/2009 21:44

This has been bugging me for weeks and as the number of CBBs threads have increased with the darker evenings, I feel amongst kindred spirits.
Do people actually eat grape pizza? Was there nothing else in the CBBs kitchen the day they had to make that truly appalling filler? Will Katie stun us all with a fruit cocktail pizza one day?
Your thoughts please (if you're as desperately sad as I).

The grape pizza looks hideous. I can't stand the show tbh, although it is better than Tommy Zoom. The songs are terrible.

I can't believe she's 23 either. I've turned into a bit of a ranting madwoman about that actually and keep telling everyone I meet . No-one else seems to care so I'm glad I'm not completely alone.

I think I used to know her as well because she went to the University I used to work at and she looks like the type to use the library a lot (plus, I recognised her but wasn't sure where from).

apparently its a tuscan classic see

NotAnotherNewNappy · 11/12/2009 12:29

Yanbu. And with rosemary???? Everyone knows it's oregano or basil at a push on pizzas. I put some rosemary in DD's spag bog once and she spat it straight back out at me. (she is only a baby - not exceptionally rude).

morningpaper · 11/12/2009 12:31

YANBU about the rosemary. It is not a joint of lamb. No fool wants grapes and rosemary on a pizza

morningpaper · 11/12/2009 12:32

Oooh Here is the Recipe in case no one has linked

It looks really bad in that picture

NormalityBites · 12/12/2009 13:56

Oh no that picture is appalling - it's really made me heave....

MrsSantaChemist · 12/12/2009 14:05

I stunned my home ec. teacher with a fruit cocktail pizza. It had pineapple, grapes, oranges, strawberrys, kiwi fruits, bananas and apples.
No cheese or tomato though.
I wouldn't recommend it. It was vile.

Jamie Oliver does grapes, garlic and rosemary on a pizza base. It's gorgeous.

But I love Pizza Express's Veneziana one with raisins and pine nuts.

upahill · 13/12/2009 18:42

Some kids I know like to make a Pizza dough base and then put chocolate spread and marshmellows on. It has quite grown on me over the years I must admit!

Whitty1 · 21/09/2012 15:29

I think Katy is fab and a bit of a babe! Please leave her alone she is doing a fab job!

MummyPig24 · 21/09/2012 15:47

My kids didn't complain when I put grapes oj their pizza Haha. Anyone remember the baked bean pizzas you used to get in the freezer section? Me and my bro used to love them! Clearly we are odd and I am still odd to think the grapes on pizza was a good idea!

DesperatelySeekingPomBears · 21/09/2012 15:57

This Katy doesn't sound too bad. Clearly you've all been sheltered from babytv and the mockery of god that is baby chef. The kids on there look like they physically want to vomit as they choke down his concoctions. Sweetcorn, gherkins and tomatoes mixed with mayo anyone?

TheSkiingGardener · 21/09/2012 15:57

cat811 · 21/09/2012 17:34

At the risk of being pedantic, isn't she 26 then if it was written in 2009...? Grin

WelshMaenad · 21/09/2012 19:01

The THREAD is from 2009 Hmm

aldiwhore · 21/09/2012 19:24

Grape pizza is lovely.. think pineapple, without the pineapple taste.

aldiwhore · 21/09/2012 19:24
