This was to air last evening. Why must this poor girl continue falling into the hole today?

Frivol · 13/05/2009 15:34

I jump every time that boy pans into camera.

Frasersmum123 · 13/05/2009 19:25

The whole 'missing children season' on C4 is going on for a couple of weeks I think, so it might be there for a while.

Its really annoying!

brimfull · 13/05/2009 19:27

pmsl
tis a good series though

MintyyAeroEgg · 13/05/2009 19:35

I feel so taken advantage of with the continual playing of this advert that I might have to log off .

nametaken · 13/05/2009 19:37

how can I get rid of it

QueenLizTheFirstOfScotland · 13/05/2009 19:37

I've just downloaded adblocker for Firefox because of this ad - the boy shoving his face into the camera was driving me demented.

Smithagain · 13/05/2009 19:40

I'm sure it's an excellent and thought provoking series, but the girl being swallowed by the pavement is confusing and scaring my 3 yo .

nickytwotimes · 13/05/2009 19:41

Oh yes, the boy-face-shoving thing gets my goat.

BillSilverFoxBuchanan · 13/05/2009 19:42

YANBU

It has to be one of the most irritating ads to ever have graced the pages of MN

morningpaper · 13/05/2009 19:42

it IS annoying

And I keep thinking the baldy man is snogging someone

princessmel · 13/05/2009 19:43

ds keeps asking 'mummy why is the girl falling down the pavement?' It really unsettles him.

Thebolter · 13/05/2009 19:44

Yes I've been finding it really irritating too - and I've only logged on for a handful of times this week!

princessmel · 13/05/2009 19:44

Not right now btw. He's in bed.

Thebolter · 13/05/2009 19:45

princessmel - ditto my dds! It's not something I can explain easily, especially as they have a thing about not stepping on the cracks of the pavement in RL!

musicposy · 13/05/2009 20:28

Yes, even my 9 year old started to panic over it. She kept saying "why is that little girl falling into the pavement?" I said "It's not real, it's just a trick of the cameras", but it looks real, so it's hard to convince her otherwise.

She tends towards nightmares and obsessiveness over pavement cracks and the like in any case, so I could do without it keep appearing. Not saying anything against the series, just could do without the constant ad.

Grumpyoldcaaaaaaaa · 13/05/2009 20:47

Obviously my DD2 is a heartless wench at 4 years old - she laughs and thinks the girl being sucked into the pavements is funny.

Personally it's doing my nut and I too think Baldy is snogging someone's face off too.

Get rid of it please

hohoba · 13/05/2009 20:49

yes and that boy has been in in that Kozy coupe for days!

tvaerialmagpiebin · 13/05/2009 21:29

hohoba · 14/05/2009 14:25

ah i see they are no longer incarcerated in a kozy koupe

southeastastra · 14/05/2009 14:27

its the ad for that film on sunday about samantha morton (i think!)

really it doesn't bother me in the slightest

Rhubarb · 14/05/2009 14:28

I complained about the ad. They were showing it well before the watershed and my kids were really upset by it.

Rhubarb · 14/05/2009 14:28

The ad for the Forgotten Kids that is.
