if i see that woman dabbing her eyes ONCE MORE, then I will push her into a hole in the pavement and cast nary a look after her.

i agree.

mosschops30 · 14/05/2009 14:36

i hate it too, its not even like the normal MN adverts which come and go, its on all the bloody time.
Cant they take it off its very disturbing

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 14/05/2009 14:42

Oh, I nearly did a post about this. My 6 year old DD is very disturbed by it and has worries that if she doesn't 'fall in to the pavement', someone will pinch her.

It is horrible

Rhubarb · 14/05/2009 14:46

Well they didn't uphold my complaint. They said the ad was done in a creative and eye-catching way "they are positioned in the schedule at specific times....and great care is taken about the placement of trails especially when children could be watching.....we noted that in this instance the trail was not shown in between programmes aimed at children.....it was a highly stylised trailer and didn't linger for any great length of time on any child's suffering or torment, neither did we feel that it was graphic or explicit."

So if you disagree with that I suggest that you too, complain to Ofcom

Rhubarb · 14/05/2009 14:47

Sorry, Ofcom

The girl with the flashing teeth is very strange!

But I will be watching the programme on sunday night

hobbgoblin · 15/05/2009 09:35

Every day I have to explain why there is a girl falling into the pavement. The explanation for a 9 year old, the explanation to a 7 year old and the explanation to a 5 year old. Every day I tell you.

And there is a new "but whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?" each time too.

GentlyDoesIt · 15/05/2009 09:55

Chalk me up as another one who has spent a couple of hours this week reassuring her child that she is not going to be eaten up by a pavement.

Brilliant series, though.

isenhart7 · 17/05/2009 17:35

Why did the girl fall into the pavement?

Because she had flashing teeth.

moondog · 17/05/2009 17:39
