You ask your friends if you are being unreasonable every time you say anything remotely controversial

Springfleurs · 26/04/2009 09:32

You don't eat Gregg's sausage rolls anymore even when you used to love them.

shootfromthehip · 26/04/2009 09:34

You fing yourself using MN terminology to new people that you have just met to test them out... are they one of 'us'? Would that improve my opinion of them? Probably I'm ashamed to say...

MrsDanversAteMyIpod · 26/04/2009 09:37

You eye Daily Mail readers with suspicion

You absolutely do not have cracked heels

duchesse · 26/04/2009 09:37

You wonder/ worry whether everyone you know vaguely in real life has an MN identity and you might accidentally reveal yourself to each other, thereby disclosing way more than you meant to to your RL acquaintance.

LolaTheShowgirl · 26/04/2009 09:37

everytime you pass waitrose, you have a sneaky peek in to see if any mnetters are in, even tho you have no idea what they look like.

OP posts:
iamaLeafontheWind · 26/04/2009 09:40

You eye up people buying Penguin biscuits.

bigcometobedeyes · 26/04/2009 09:42

When out and about instead of thinking I will look up XYZ or ring such and such you think 'I'll as the MNetters'...

MrsDanversAteMyIpod · 26/04/2009 09:45

the words

& mooncup make perfect sense

5inthebed · 26/04/2009 09:46

You see a child/children left in the car at a petrol station and think "This will be in the AIBU thread later".

MrsMagooo · 26/04/2009 09:57

Instead of using his name you refer to your husband as DH in RL

cyteen · 26/04/2009 10:04

You hear one mum-with-toddler say to another "oh, she's well happy with that Fruit Shoot ent she?" and think "I can't wait to get home and post about that"

nickschick · 26/04/2009 10:05

I actually nearly boaked when a neighbour told me she was a 'netmummy'.......

I was sure that Id spotted a mumsnetter at the fair but was disillusioned when she bought fruit shoots out from her bag and gave 1 to her daughter named Liberty !!!.

I do call DH dh quite often - and use the expressions norks and fanjo altho not in a porno way......

nickschick · 26/04/2009 10:07

Flower3545 · 26/04/2009 10:07

You think in abbreviations rather than full words

You type a letter and look for the emoticons to add.

nickschick · 26/04/2009 10:07

Stardrops cleaning fluid reminds me of devil wears primark!!!

Bumperlicioso · 26/04/2009 10:08

You find yourself unable to communicate properly in work emails without the use of and .

GossipMonger · 26/04/2009 10:09

You say to the HEADTEACHER that you will ask DH if he can come into school and do a cookery demo!

Starbear · 26/04/2009 10:15

You log on when you start your housework!
Work around the house in 10 mins slots so you can come back to see the new posts!

MrsMagooo · 26/04/2009 10:17

You shake your head & mutter under your breath when you spy someone putting Fruit Shoots into their shopping trolley.

iamaLeafontheWind · 26/04/2009 10:19

You repeat stories from 'a friend of a friend' then realise they are actually from Mumsnet.

Discussing Friday nights with other Mum friends includes commenting on the best threads.

giraffesCantRunA10k · 26/04/2009 10:20

You look for shopping lists in the supermarket

MrsMagooo · 26/04/2009 10:26

You make the face in RL in the form of an answer
