DH pissed in a bottle

SweatyArseCrack · 16/02/2009 13:52

DH got drunk last night and left a load of lager bottles filled with piss all over the living room floor. I found them this morning but not before the dog had knocked some over so there was stale piss all over the carpet.

I know I'm not being unreasonable to be pissed off but I'm at a loss of what to do. I shouted at him this morning but I feel I can't just let it go. I'm so

What would you do?

PMSL! But only because it is exactly the sort of thing my DH would do. In fact, I think if I told him about this thread the little lightbulb would go on in his mostly empty head. He usually just deposits urine into his trousers when very drunk. That or next to the kitchen bin or NEAR the toilet. In the summer he just pisses out in the garden. Lovely. However, he doesn't tend to get that drunk anymore.

EricL · 16/02/2009 14:41

That is disgusting.

Unless he can collect, arrange and piss in these bottles whilst also paying 100% attention to a game and not using any hands in the complex urination procedure - i fail to see why he could not just press pause and use the toilet.

Pawslikepaddington · 16/02/2009 14:42

Eww I would leave him-that is vile!

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 16/02/2009 14:42

Stale lager certainly tastes of piss, maybe it smells of it too.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 16/02/2009 14:44

Or maybe it smells of bullshit

Hassled · 16/02/2009 14:45

He must have a hell of a lot of redeeming features or any sane woman would be thinking long and hard about why she was living with such a bone idle tosser.

So "he was "in a really important mission on GTA"" - is he 12? Is that really an adult's idea of what's really important? Not spilling piss over the sitting room is slightly more important, I'd have said.

lilstarry1 · 16/02/2009 15:15

But... but.. you said you thought you were being unreasonable for feeling cross.

Are you mad?
I would question his respect for you / your home / your children (if you have any).

I'd be incredibly disgusted, not cross, but disgusted and actually disappointed that someone could act so thoughtlessly just because of alcohol. I certainly wouldn't be buying beers or allowing him to drink in the house either - what a tit!

That is totaly and utterly vile.

wotulookinat · 16/02/2009 15:36

Gross. That's worse than being so drunk you wee yourself (not me, but DH did - oooh he hasn't dared get that drunk again!). He deliberately did wees into bottles rather than go to the loo? I think a new carpet is the way forward.

DonkeyPuncher · 16/02/2009 15:37

He would need a small penis, a very sharp aim, and (ew) surely there would be splashback. I hope he didn't sleep in bed with you.

WinkyWinkola · 16/02/2009 15:38

What a weird guy. I'd leave the full bottles in the boot of his car to deal with.

You sometimes see bottles of wee next to the motorway, where I presume people (men?) had been caught short. There is no excuse for the OP's DH as he has a toilet in his house.

Scoops · 16/02/2009 15:59

We know someone who woke up in the morning and found her relatively new husband asleep on the sofa after a heavy night out.
On the floor at the end of the sofa was a huge turd. He had apparently mistaken the end of the sofa for the toilet, the way you do.
They're not married any more.....!!

Ah Lenor bottles

There was a thread about weeing in your tent at festivals. One of my friends worked doing the cleanup at Glastonbury and the place was scattered with full Lenor bottles.

fossa · 16/02/2009 18:00

I had a female friend who confessed to regularly squatting over the cat litter tray when she couldn't be arsed to go to the loo...

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 16/02/2009 18:08

My ex used to pee in pint glasses then leave them in his wardrobe for MONTHS..and he was sober and just too lazy to go to the toilet I split with him very shortly after discovering this!!!!

onepieceofbrusselssprout · 16/02/2009 18:09

But surely it is more hassle in the long run to empty/clean all of these "alternative" receptacles than just get off your bottom and walk to the loo? [hmm}

wotulookinat · 16/02/2009 18:33

squatting over the cat litter tray??!!! I bet her cat wasn't happy.

ahhhmen · 16/02/2009 18:58

my xp used to and prob still pisses in cans when he cant be arsed to go up the stairs, how lazy, he could never understand why I didnt like it coz he would nearly always empty the content doen the sink in the kitchin, which I found even more disgusting, I prepare food in the kitchen whats so hard to understand

qwertpoiuy · 16/02/2009 19:06

this brings back memories of years ago, when my then 5yo db3 pissed into a cup because he developed a fear of going to the toilet. Db4 then 14mo found the cup and tried to drink from it. He nearly choked on it. He was bestman at db3's wedding and I was very tempted to tell him that story for his speech!
OP, I would kill your dh!

qwertpoiuy · 16/02/2009 19:09

scoops, that was disgusting - Yeurgh!!!!
