Is there someone that lives in Brighton?
I have heard a rumor that Mr Cave and his wife are expecting another baby.
Is there someone that knows if it's true?

"I don't get the big bottle of water = pregnant connection."

I don?t know about other women but when I was pregnant I was thirsty all the time(I was super thirsty!)

sunnydelight · 23/10/2008 04:21

A friend of mine lives in the same building as him (in Hove). It's the middle of the night with you guys though so don't think she'd appreciate a phone call asking about her neighbour

Elffriend · 23/10/2008 08:38

NO idea of the answer to any of questions posed in this surreal thread BUT just wanted to say I have seen Nick Cave live and it was FAB! (and I had not ben a huge fan beforehand). He is extremely talented and an intensely charsimatic performer. Great voice and amazing songwriter.

Clearly however, as mad as an unhinged box of speckled frogs - on coke. and booze.

The hair/tache thing is deeply disturbing.

I would though.

Bet Kylie did.

fullmOOOOOWHOOOOOnfiend · 23/10/2008 08:45

I would too....
He is strangely compelling.
I too drink bottled water, so, see - we would have so much in common.

Troutpout · 23/10/2008 08:59

yabv surreal
oh and

Rose100 · 23/10/2008 09:20

Please come back and explain yourself Denise. I was thinking about this thread last night. Makes me glad I'm not a sleb to have to deal with this level of oddness.

Elffriend · 23/10/2008 09:20

For those who have no idea what we're talking about!

just'cos we should all take a moment

with PH Harvey

sigh.

Troutpout · 23/10/2008 09:46

Oh i really wanted to like him then Ellfriend..but no
I'm still not getting it

Elffriend · 23/10/2008 09:52

I'll admit he's an odd one (music is amazing though). I find him both repellent and fascinating at the same time! There is something very fragile about him (mothering instincts) but also very dark and very intellectual (turn on!). Live, he gives of the most stunning energy.

I'm screwed up aren't I?!

If it reassures you I'd still jump over him to get to David Tennant!

denise100 · 23/10/2008 11:11

"Please come back and explain yourself Denise."

There's nothing to explain.I read this somewhere(in another forum), and I'd like to know if it's true.I know that here there are people who live in brighton/hove.
If someone knows something please let me know!

Who the feck is Nick Cave???

Rose100 · 23/10/2008 11:57

Sleb twaddle?

LittleOneMum · 23/10/2008 13:56

OK so I have a FAB story about Nick Cave by the way (first hand story!) Ok so he does live in Hove - and was spotted last year at the panto with his kid pointing one of those huge foam hands whenever the baddy came on! (yes HE was doing this, not the child).

SlowlyFadingForms · 23/10/2008 14:13

Actually, I do know a close relative of Mr Cave (my one and only sleb connection) so I could find.

This thread is weird but when I lived in Hove years ago I used to see him with his sweet twins around often.I miss them!

Please could you ask him/her about this?

pointygravedogger · 23/10/2008 14:27

right. Ol' nick was on jonathan ross recently. He performed standing up (better than at piano), he had baldy head, big black tache, facially fairly awful. here

Something about how he moved, how he sang. Oh I dunno. I'm not a nick cave fan at all but he has something.

ahundredtimes · 23/10/2008 14:27

Oh I see, I completely missed it last night that Denise100 - another member of this weird 100 club that has been set up - was not the person who commented on the water.

Right. Do see. Denise100 you are no longer scary.

brightongirldownunder · 23/10/2008 14:38

Bloody hell.
Lived in Brighton missed Cave and moved to bloody Australia.
He looks like combo of a grave digger and nosferatu.
But then I find a pissed Johnny Vegas mysteriously sexy....

OrmIrian · 23/10/2008 14:43

Ooh I like his songs.

Don't know about his baby though.

OrmIrian · 23/10/2008 14:43

I love 'God is in the house' - wonderful, haunting.

Boco · 23/10/2008 14:45

100x I think you may be the leader of this 100 club! Sending your other 100s out to glean info on Nick Cave - what do you want with him?

Is it because he looks odd and therefore probably IS odd?

pointygravedogger · 23/10/2008 14:50

Yes! Henceforth, 100s, you shall be known as the Fellowship of the Ring!

ahundredtimes · 23/10/2008 14:51

There could be lots of us. Rose100, Denise100, Jane100, Deirdre100, Jessica100, Pam100.

It'll be like Charlie's Angels or something.

I'm Max.

Boco · 23/10/2008 14:52

Yes I can imagine you with a fat cigar and a Plan.

ahundredtimes · 23/10/2008 14:53

Yeah, I'm going to be like really cool and powerful, but also understanding. They're all going to sit on the edges of my desk and flatter me before going out into the night to inspect suspect overly large bottles of water.

MegBusset · 23/10/2008 14:54

Nick Cave is very attractive. (I could do without the 'tache, mind.)

I shook his hand once. It didn't get me pregnant, though.
