Yes absolutely but there is a lot going on, the Gazans will be going to elections, there is a rebuild to worry about. Gazans will understandably have zero access to work in Israel for a while, at least some Palestinians interest the west bank are employed. What they are proposing to do will probably means some Palestinians experience job losses and if Israel chooses to it will cause job losses here.

This is soundbite politics, it’s for domestic consumption to stop the haemorrhaging to the greens and gaza Mp’s but some poor bastard in the West Bank is going to get laid off as well as possibly some poor bastard in a pharma production site in the UK. If it was in any way useful to anyone I would look a bit more kindly on it. This is entirely to soothe anyone for whom Gaza is their main point of concern.

The closure of the Uk embassy will also massively disrupt the UK’s access to Palestinian authorities/charities/ uk charities operating in Israel.

Literally not a single Palestinian will be helped, we will lose some exports, access, intelligence etc etc.

Its completely standard to impose sanctions where a state breaches international law. Settlements in the West Bank are illegal.
